West Side Elementary School serves more than 800 students in kindergarten through grade five and employs over 50 staff members. The school s support staff includes custodians, cafeteria workers, paraprofessionals and speech therapists. West Side Elementary School s library stocks fiction works, folktales, informational nonfiction, biographies, autobiographies, plays and poems. The elementary school also sponsors various projects and safety education classes. It offers education in language arts, math skills, science and health education.
