Lesson Learned
I tried this salon for the first time and was impressed with the friendly and accommodating attitude of the staff, was quoted a very reasonable price I did not argue it, and met on the day of my appointment with a stylist willing to please. But unfortunately for what I wanted done she was neither experienced enough or honest enough to admit she could not do it or that she could not work with my grade of hair so what I ended up with was a cut that was shorter on one side than the other and the back was not what I asked for but I allowed myself to be talked into accepting what she did because she claimed to know better than me. When I expressed my displeasure the later I was told they would not be open again for 3 more days so instead of waiting I asked for a partial refund. This way I could go else where, but was told they undercharged me and no monies would be refunded. They under priced their own work but were upset with me, offered to trim my hair but only when they could fit me in. Then later said they would not be willing to fix what they had done. Lots of miscommunication between owners, and limited experience left me very dissatisfied not so much with the work but with the service. If you can not do what the costumer asks for, BE HONEST, if the price was quoted wrong, BE HONEST AND CORRECT IT, do not make the customer feel like they are taking advantage of you. Also if something comes up like a family emergency and you need to reschedule please just let the person know. What was suppose to be a special outing for my Mother's birthday turned into a disappointing, rushed, guilt laden afternoon at DIVINITY SALON.
