Started off having a good experience with Karl but went downhill after that. He did some basic single room painting, guest bathroom, and foyer alcove. Both left much to be desired. First, the bathroom had paint splatter all over the fixtures, showing a lack of attention to detail. Second, after he used two layers of paint on the entrance alcove, the base color is already showing through. The kitchen ceiling needed block out compound to cover up a stain; he spent about 6 hours repairing this and now, six months later, there is show-through of the stain again. I called to schedule some follow up projects we had discussed and to point these things out, but I have yet to hear from him. He also quoted me $3000 to paint first floor/foyer and had Alyssa Painting do it for $1700 professionally. After the single room disaster, I decided I needed a pro. Another time, he tried to diagnose a problem with electrical outlets in my kitchen after he said he had some experience and basically wasted my time, not knowing what he was doing. Shoe covers should be mandatory in the business and he just walked in with his boots, leaving a trail of dust/paint and dirt in my house. Lastly, as a professional, keep your personal life at home. He and his buddy were chatting up how much they disliked women when my wife was in the adjacent room. I called QuickFix Projects with Ilye and didn't look back. Would not recommend
