I went to Pridestaff back a few years ago, looking for work. I told them that I only wanted temp to hire, and not just temporary. All they had at the time was temporary so I didn't take anything. A lady from Pridestaff called me one Friday night asking me to do a short term assignment for them because the person that was suppose to do it called and said that they couldn't do it, and they needed somebody desperately. The lady said if I took the assignment that she would find me something temp to hire after wards, so I took it. After the assignment was over with I didn't hear anything from Pridestaff for over two weeks, so I finally called. The same lady that asked me so nicely to do the short term assignment , answered the phone, I told her who I was, and asked if they had anything, she said no and hung up the phone. I eventually found something else until late 2009, when I lost my job. Not that many places were hiring so I decided to try Pridestaff again. They have different people working there now, but they have the same owner, play the same games, and have the same ignorant attitude. As soon as I walked into Pridestaff the guy said we do not accept applications here they only accept them online please leave. The guy looked like he was going to call the cops, so I didn't say anything I just left. I went home and updated my online profile with Pridestaff. I called Pridestaff the following day to let them know that I updated my profile, and asked them if they had anything, they said no. The following week I noticed an ad for Pridestaff on craigslist. for Rapak . So I called Pridestaff again, and asked the guy if they had anything he said no. I told him I saw an ad on craigslist, he said he didn't know of any ad. I don't know if he was playing dumb or if he is actually dumb, I think a little bit of both. So I read him the ad word for word then he suddenly knew what I was talking about. He said if my qualifications met what they are looking for that he would give me a call back. I asked him what the qualifications were, and I not only met those qualifications but exceeded them, but still did not receive a call back. Since then every time I see an ad on craigslist for Pridestaff I call, and I receive the same answer each time, at first they say no they don't have anything then I tell them I saw the ad, and they tell me if my qualifications met what they are looking for they will give me a call back. I finally just gave up with them. The only real contract they have is with Rapak for 8.75 an hour, and they are always hiring for there because they only have people work there a couple of months before letting them go, even though they call it temp to hire. I knew that but didn't care because I just needed a job and I couldn't be picky. My advice don't waste your time unless you are illegal or have a felony because they are only looking for people that wont complain about the low pay, and about being let go after a couple of months. If you are just a normal person looking for work they are not going to help you, so don't waste your time with this place unless you don't care about a complete waste of time out of your life.
