The ownets have always been pleasant. I walked through the kennel area when I first started boarding my yorkie about 6 years so. It was satisfactory.
my dog seems to love being kenneled there and being groomed.

In consistent is the best way to describe this place. You never know what you will pay for grooming. If you get the sweet little lady at the front desk you can expect to pay the usual. However, if you get the grumpy old man you should expect to pay more. In addition, he says they must have raised the prices when asked about the different amount he is quoting. When THEY is he and his wife who own and run the place with their son!! Ridiculous!! I will not spend any more of my money here EVER again.

I had a German Shepherd puppy that was 9 months old that I left in there care for two weeks while I was out of town for my job. I come back only to be told that my dog had lost a lot of weight while he was there. He blamed it on dry dog food telling me that it is not good for dogs and it makes them lose weight. He then gave me a large bag of RAW BONE IN CHICKEN that he had been feeding him. Once they stopped stalling me and brought him out he was nothing but skin and bones. I got him home and fed him and he threw up everything he ate. The vet said he felt the dog had been starved and he was giving him RAW chicken as a quick fix. Needless to say after a week and a half of going back and fourth to the vet he had to be put down. The hardest thing was me having to explain it to my 9 year old. I would not advise anyone taking there pet to this place. He went from 51 pounds two 38 pounds in two weeks. Had I read these other reviews I wouldn't of taken him there.

I have always enjoyed taking my dogs to Clayton Pet Care. My dogs are welled cared for, have good haircuts and smell terrific. When I had a flee problem they offered lots of advise and at times even gave me free treatments for my dogs.

Take your pet anywhere other than to this place. The husband is jealous of the animals.

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER! if you love your pet, care for your pet, and care how he is being taken care of. THEN DO NOT put your pet in this place at all, very rude. They don't show you around. Why? because they have dogs in small miniature cages. The let the dog out for two seconds on a leash and back into the cage he goes. When i brought his food, they even asked me what it was? Its cheap to board but remember the cheaper the cheaper the people are with your animal!!!! The guy there who is apparently her husband is the most rudest human being I have ever met, and has zero compassion for pets and their owners. My ADVICE :: STAY FAR FAR AWAY. It's all just for show.
