Situated on eight acres of woods, field, and sprawling yard in the midst of the Shawnee National Forest, our lodging sits along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail and just moments away from Alto Vineyards, Blue Sky Vineyards, and Russell Hill Winery. Also nearby is the Giant City State Park, the Cache River Wetlands, the Little Grand Canyon, Bald Knob Mountain, and the Southern Illinois Wine Trail. Feel free to enjoy a fire on cool evenings — Tom has a pile of wood always at the ready — and count fireflies dancing in the tree line. Look out for deer walking by to say hello! Be sure to walk the grounds with an early morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine as you relax from the day's adventures. Come join us!
