One of the best affordable places to eat! You never walk away hungry. Prices are amazing. Margaritas are fantastic. Service can be slow sometimes but generally overall it is good. Food is DELISH!!! I have never had anything there that was bad. Been eating there for over 20 years! Chicken nachos are the bomb!

I love this restaraunt, it is where my husband and I go on date night now. The food is always great the service is good.. and the atmosphere is just awesome. They serve alot of food at a great price too.

The food is horrible! The husband had the surpreme burito and said it tasted like canned food. I ordered carnitas at the were hard! Horrible horrible horrible! They were over salted. The menu sucks! We had $55 of nasty food that my dog ate.Dont eat here! This is not authentic, nor tex-mex. El Vallarta is way better!

I didn't know what to expect when I went out with some friends to Casa Montez, but was pleased with the food and price. I ordered a salad and cheesy chicken nachos and could not finish, they definitely give you healthy servings!

We went to Casa Montez for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The seating was very uncomfortable. The service was horrilbe & the food was not good at all. We tried paying with our card & they told us the card was declined so we ended up paying cash, even though we knew the card should have worked just fine. As soon as we got back into our car we checked the balance on our card. They had charged $40.75 to our card three times when our total was only $33.96 in the first place. We went back in to talk to them about it & they were very unprefessonal. The manager would not give us any answers, just told us over and over that it wasn't charged to our account when we had just seen that it was. We asked why it was charged for $7 extra all they would say was that our server says she just ran it for the amount. We were finally able to talk to the owner and she informed us it would be back on our card by midnight. When the funds were not returned to our account I called back & they were very rude to me. First, the owner was not in yet, & the guy who answered the phone refused to take a message for me. When I finally got ahold of the owner she was no help either. She just said that it was not in their system and that it will be off at midnight. When we figured what the tip should have been afterwards $40.75 is the total when you add a 20% tip to the $33.96 total. So the waitress automatically gave herself a 20% without our authorization. On top of all that, after eating, my fiance & I were both sick to our stomachs the rest of the evening. Long story short, we paid $160 for a $33 meal that wasn't even worth the $33 in the first place.

Great food great prices! Awesome burrito enchilada style.

I love Casa Montez. Very good Mexican food only downside is there may be a long line on the weekends. They have a great burrito enchilada style.
