This is the perfect hotel if you're just passing through the Joplin area. The hotel is adjacent to the highway and the rooms were reasonably priced. Additionally, there were free drinks and hors-d'oeuvres/light dinner available in the evening, as well as free breakfast in the morning. If you didn't want the hotel food, there are plenty of restaurants in the area as well, including Olive Garden, Steak N' Shake, Texas Roadhouse, Outback Steakhouse, Eagle Drive-In, Denny's, and Cracker Barrel, just to name a few. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the indoor pool or hot tub, or get your blood pumping in the exercise room. Plus, they have free Wi-Fi, just in case you need to work in your room or connect with friends on social media.
