I have 3 dogs-2 labradors and a dachshund. It isn't always easy to find a place to leave them where they will all be safe, comfortable and happy while I am gone. One lab is getting old and grouchy, one lab is young, very energetic and loves to challenge authority and the little wiener dog is a talented escape artist, if there is any weakness in a fence, she will find it. At Golden Oaks Boarding Kennel we found the owners, Curtis and Kathy to be very friendly and professional. They are obviously experienced and know how to handle dogs, even my black Lab, Lady, who loves to try to be in control. The kennel was cleaner than many houses I have been in, to my suprise it didn't even have that distinctive "dog smell" when we entered. That's once again more than I can say for some people's houses. All 3 dogs received excellent care while here, I would even say exceptional because of the cleanliness, large rural type yard, and because of how happy the dogs seemed to be when we returned. The price is very reasonable and we would be very comfortable to leave them there again if we hadn't moved out of the area. Thank you, Curtis and Kathy, for taking such good care of them while we needed to be gone!!
