Irving Elementary School offers a variety of academic and extracurricular options to students in kindergarten through grade four. Established in 1927, it has an enrollment of more than 250 students. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, math, English, music, art and physical education. Irving Elementary School also provides Teaching Reading to Every Kid (TREK) and after-school programs. In addition, it conducts various cocurricular events, such as open house competitions, summer activities, Christmas celebrations, art shows, and family fun and game nights. Its facilities include a library, cafeteria, computer laboratory, playground and classrooms. The school has a parent-teacher organization that sponsors several activities and raises funds to enhance the education of students. Irving Elementary School is located in Joplin, Mo., and is a part of the Joplin School District.

Great Teachers! Great Principal!

My son is in Kindergarden this year, and we are absolutly loving this school. The principal is wonderful! She interacts with the kids on a daily basis, and his teacher is wonderful as well.
