I have a 2000 4 runner that had , I write Had a miss.
I have been dealing with this problem close to 4 years,with a check engine light always a reminder.
I have been all thru the forums and mechanical remedies of, replacing MAF sensor ,SPARK PLUGS,,O2 SENSORS,EXHAUST,.
Was diagnosed bad valve springs, head gaskets,valve cover gaskets etc.
Long story short Joel and his professionals, trouble shooted the problem correctly, with a fuel starved condition,that was due to the # 6 injector malfuntioning.
Problem solved after replacing all injectors.
Now my 2000 4 runner runs like the fine tuned automobile that it should be. With 216,000 MILES.
Will seriously consider Joel Auto Repair to be the only doctor for this vehicle.
