Joppatowne High School, also known as JHS, is a learning center that provides educational services for more than 1,100 students in grades 9 through 12. Founded in 1972, it offers classes in math, English, biology and writing. The school has a staff of over 70 employees. Joppatowne High School also provides special education programs for gifted and talented students. It is a National Blue Ribbon School and a part of Harford County Public Schools, which operates elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools offer Title I programs and food services. Its schools organize various sports activities, such as tennis, softball, baseball, and track and field.
