Dr. Dewitt is a GREAT dentist. Been going to him for many years and have always trusted him. When someone asks about dentists in the area I always refer them to Dr. Dewitt. And I really think there is more to the story from the person who left the negative review. A dentist is NOT going to let you leave his office knowing you have cavities and not tell you.

I also have used Gene since I was young and I am now 42. My parents, family and kids and have had nothing but good things. We moved away about 4 years ago and I we have friends that have a huge dentist office with over 9 offices around Southlake... He has been treating us since the move but everything had been great~ All the work Gene has ever done- which is A LOT! I'm sorry this happened to you but if you and your family have used him for this long you should know... HE IS AM AWESOME PERSON and you should have gone to him or called and let him show you your ex-rays he should have on file and go over with him what this other dentist is doing! Dentists aren't going to turn you away knowing your teeth are in need of attention! That's their business! Something sounds strange and maybe you should have gone to another dentists to get even a second opinion because greying of the teeth is not something to panic about! It could be as simple as... An excessive ingestion of fluoride during the formation of the teeth can create called dental fluorosis. Also, taking the antibiotic tetracycline during the formation of the teeth can make them greyish. If a pregnant woman takes tetracycline, it can later change the baby's teeth colour to grey even their permanent teeth can turn later in life! I'm just saying HE IS A GREAT DENTISTS and if you guys REALLY KNEW HIM you would be able to show him and asked him about it before running off to a different dentist who may see a chance to make a lot of money even though your friend works for him. Doesn't mean he's a truthful dentist! Also, if there where cavities you should have been feeling a lot of sensitivity on those teeth... Especially if they were bad enough to be deep enough for you to see with a camera!



FYI~ I will ALWAYS GO TO GENE DEWITT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY FAMILY AND NEVER HESITATE EVEN AFTER READING THIS RESPONSE because HE'S NEVER OVERLOOKED ANYTHING WITH US OR THE FRIENDS WE HAVE WHO GO~ Which is A LOT!
