Provided by YP.comSun-Ray Pools staff, quality of work, pricing, and quality of equipment was all deciding points when we were shopping around for a pool contractor. From our first conversation, our sales person was eager to work with us and our needs in regards to design and budget. The controller handled all the paperwork and permitting in a very efficient and timely manner. The owner oversaw the project once it began. He was very responsive and professionally handled all of our inquiries throughout the construction process. The whole team worked with us on design options and gave us the pros/cons for each, along with their personal experiences, helping us make well-informed decisions. Their down-to-earth demeanor, honesty, and integrity ensured us we made the right choice for our investment.

Provided by YP.comSigned contract 18 Mar, pool not complete and it is mid Jul. Original sales man lied and told us all the people worked directly for Sun-Ray and that they did not subcontract out. Subcontracting created a lot of delays as we had to wait for openings in their packed schedules. Also, original salesman left Sun-Ray & all the things we had discussed with him were not relayed to the owner and so my pool was not built the way we had asked. There were quite a few changes discussed with the salesman that were not updated on our drawing or changed in the contract...I only noticed them once the hole had been dug and the concrete poured which made it too late to fix and so I am going to have to live with a pool that is not exactly what we had wanted. Two neighbors both signed contracts with two different pool builders in mid-Jun and their pools are further along than ours. I would not recommend using Sun-Ray...I am very disappointed and wish I would have contracted with a different company.
Carol C. I am sorry for feel this way, but you have NOT reported a full and accurate description of your experience. You neglected to add that Burleson, TX had Exception levels of Rain The Year of your Build (And you live in the middle of a hill)... The Average RainFall For Burleson, TX during the Months of March through July is .37 of an inch….in 2016 for these same months, we received 11.43 inches…..Coupled with the Choice to not pay the 500 dollars (This was a Highly discounted rate offered to you by the owner to expedite the Pool Construction) as you wanted us to come through the adjacent lot, at the bottom of the hill, where a home was being built and almost finished… Given this Construction could not be started until earth moving units (Multi ton Dump Trucks) could get into the Saturated area, as you also did not want to consume the Cost of Tow trucks to move the units out. Yes you signed a Contract on March 13, 2016 – But you did NOT receive Financiering approval Until March 30, 2016. After that date is when the Clock starts, as Sun-Ray pools will NOT begin the permitting Process until after Financing is secured, as there is a Cost with the Permit. On March 30th I sent you an e-mail notifying you that the pool plans would be dropped off at your Electric Provider that day: On 04/05/2016 I sent you a Message letting you know that I had picked up your plans from you electric provider and dropped off at the City of Burleson for Permitting…Since you live in a “Planned Community” the city must make certain that the plans meet the PD’s Guidelines and therefore could take multiple days. The City of Burleson Finished the Permit on 04/11/2016 and we picked them up that day At this point, we had too much rain to dig; as the Lot next door had a steady stream of Run off...of which I sent Multiple pictures showing the Steady Stream of Water. After all the Rain, the adjacent lot was dry and we were able to dig the pool on 05/25/2016. You were at home that day…But chose NOT to exit the home when Tony Williams (Owner) Drew the Pool out in the Yard (with Paint) for the Excavation units. It was NOT until after the Excavation had begun that you exited the home to look (Tony Williams had already left to oversee another job)…We stopped the dig, and Tony Williams informed you, that if we move the Pool that you would require additional deck outside of the Quote/Contracted amount (at your cost) in order to have the deck as you wanted it. You agreed to pay the additional amount, which as of 03/16/2017 you have not paid.(Which indeed Voids their warranty until paid). We then moved the forms and relocated the Pool. After the pool was Dug, we experienced 15 more days of rain. As a result of this, the pool forms caved in, and we had to dig the already formed Rebar out of the bottom of the pool, reform the pool and new rebar, at Zero additional Cost to you. The ONLY reason why we dug the pool when we did, is because your contract with Lyon’s was due to Expire on 07/03/2016. I also have an e-mail from you stating that you were not willing to Extend your Contract… “I'm not paying any extra fees nor will I reaccomplish the contract because I dont want to re-run my credit and have those extra points deducted from credit score”. After several more Rain Delays (Heavy Rain delays) the Pool was Plastered on 07/08/2016, and the decks were poured on 07/15/2016. Pool Complete I was the individual that you spoke to regarding a quote for a swimming, and I specifically told you that we are the General Contractor, and that all the trades are Subcontractors. I also Spoke with Dustin (Whom you refer to in e-mails as Dusty) and he stated that he never once, told anyone Let alone yourself, or led them to believe that the Subcontractors were Direct W-2 Employees of Sun-Ray Pools.

Provided by YP.comWhen Sun-Ray Pools came to my home for installation they did a good job. They got out here and stayed on it. It only took a couple of weeks. It was awesome.
