The Junction City Police Department is responsible for providing protection of life and property through the prevention, detection and investigation of crime; enforcement of local, state and federal statutes and regulations; maintenance of active public information and educational programs; and promoting and maintaining cooperation with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. It has a patrol and operations division that includes tactical response and community involvement units. The Junction City Police Department also maintains animal control, community involvement, investigations, and administrative and records divisions. In addition, the department operates a K-9 unit that undertakes special assignments and participates in organized activities to include fugitive tracking and search warrants for drugs and narcotics. Established in 1870, the Junction City Police Department is located in Junction City, Kan.

My family’s civil rights were violated, we were discriminated against and falsely arrested, illegal search and seizure and Cadillac Escalade was impounded for no reason. I was told the factory installed lights were illegal and I was held at gunpoint by actually 5 guns English pointed at me while I was pregnant on Valentine’s Day in front of little Caesar’s at the stop light then again we were arrested JCPD Officer Miles said I kidnapped my 16 year old son. Threatened by the Chief of police ad Detective Vallon and crooked cop Tricia Giordano . Sad. Civil rights lawsuit due to this and them shooting and killing my son Ro’melle never notifying me but printing that he shot himself on JC Post. Thank God for Salina Regional performing life saving techniques and reviving my son. Lawsuit. Illegally placing our 4 children as child in need of care for retaliation. Zero stars, thumbs down. Is it 1864 or 2019?
