Provided by YP.comLived there for over 3 years because of the quick access to Fort Riley. You can find better places for cheaper prices than here. Overpriced. The 1 star rating is due to my experience upon move out because I was deploying. When I moved in, I ask about hanging things on the wall. I was told to just make sure that the nails or screws were removed. When I cleared, I was given the option to pay $50 per wall that had a nail hole or pay a flat fee of $264 to repaint the entire apartment. The burner plates on the stove were no longer "new." Again, I had been there over 3 years. I was told they needed to be replaced and it would cost $24 per plate or I could go to Walmart and purchase a set of 4 for $20. Really? You are going to charge me 6 X their worth? If your blinds or damaged, they charge $90 dollars yet the same blinds are $11 at Walmart. This type of customer serve ensures that I will not move back here after deployment and encourage anyone looking for a place to live not to move in there. Majority of the people living there are military. This place should be on the unapproved housing list.

Provided by YP.comI wish that I could give Geary Estates a full zero stars. This is by far the worst apartment complex that I have ever stayed in. Being military, the location was convenient for us, and at the time the housing on Ft. Riley had a six month waiting period, so we decided to go ahead and rent from them. WRONG ANSWER. I will NEVER again rent from these people, and I hope that people do their research before renting from them as well. Constant noise from people banging around in the apartments, or having parties. I’ve called the office management about it before – I got the same response as one of the other Google reviewers “ Call the Police” They won’t do anything for you. Things are ALWAYS breaking, or shorting out. I can’t even count how many service tickets I’ve put in for maintenance here. Their policy is to respond within 24 hours. That NEVER happens. They respond when they feel like it. The property manager, Jett, is an incredibly rude and condescending woman. We were also affected by the fire that happened on 23 MAY 2015. They indeed tried to charge us for the full month’s rent. They also charged us ‘transfer fees’ that were taken out of our account. The property manager fought us nail and tooth over the 3 day proration that we asked for being out of our apartment because of the fire. We weren’t even looking for the full month’s rent. The only way that we were able to get them to give us the three day proration from the fire, and the ‘transfer fees’ reversed is because we got JAG involved. These people are money hungry, and do what they want. Bottom line is: DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

Provided by YPmobileThis place is terrible it doesn't even deserve one sta. From bad management, lies, all the way to stolen belongings. not to mention RUDEEE! In one year we have been through 4 management's and 3 rent prices! Ridiculous. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone at all,not even someone I disliked.

Provided by YP.comBY FAR the worst complex I have ever lived in. Only giving a star because I have to. My son has a medical condition so we needed to move to be closer to the hospital for emergencies. The office staff didn't follow through with anything they said they would do and were always rude to myself but as sweet as pie to my husband. We terminated our lease early for the reason I stated above, the property manager didn't listen to a thing we had to say about anything and was VERY rude and VERY unprofessional. I had some questions about the process and why we had to wait 4 days to get a yes or no answer whether they would work with us on termination fees(just to see if we could to a payment plan for the fees) so I went to the office and asked for the number to corporate(where she claimed she was getting the answers) so I could just call and get an answer and the manager was on lunch so i left my number and asked her to call me which she never did. So I went back down there to ask and finally saw her and she was very rude and very demeaning to me when all I said was "can i have the number to corporate to get a couple questions answered" she then let me know she had never even spoken to corporate like she told my husband so I left (after she wouldn't give me the information I have a right to know) and called my husband and gave him an update. He then came down there with some one from his chain of command and they calmly asked for the same thing I did and this woman went ballistic and didn't give them the number either. We were told to just get the hell out of there asap. So fast forward about a week or so and the PROPERTY MANAGER decided she was going to play the "we cant talk to you" game and everything had to be in writing. They wouldn't tell us how, when by, and where to pay our termination fees. We finally got that figured out and got it taken care of so we cleaned the apartment and handed over the key. We then had to wait another 2 weeks for a walk through that the property manager never did after saying she was which we found out only because we wanted to end this nightmare with this place so the walk through FINALLY got done 3 weeks after our move out and we requested to be notified with any possible damages when it was done which we were never notified. They turned us over to collections with literally not even ONE notification of any damages. By far THE WORST apartment complex. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. The staff is rude and VERY unhelpful. STAY AWAY from this place like the plague!!!!!

Provided by YP.comThis place Sucks! The staff is unfriendly and their pet policy is ridiculous and for being Military friendly they do nothing to help you out. My husband and I took over this place from friend of our and the rent went up almost $40 dollars and the story they gave me was it was what the market was calling for.That is bull you can find a whole house for less than this! Someone tore the screen out and when I reported it they brushed it off and I had to try and fix it myself and we are on the lower level I dont feel safe at all and I should. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
