Provided by YP.comThis company is horrible. I prepaid for a shuttle FROM Junction City TO MCI Airport 2 weeks in advance. I received a text reminder the day before pickup. I arrived 20 minutes prior to my scheduled pickup time. While waiting, the driver called stating he was at the location AT THE AIRPORT. I was furious because he was at the wrong location! He then tells me he read it wrong and hes on his way to me now ( which is 2 hours away) He calls me back and said, " Maam, I'll get you there don't worry. Actually they didn't have anyone scheduled to pick you up so you're lucky. I took this job at the last minute." Like that was suppose to make me feel any better! So here I am stranded at the hotel pickup because the stupid driver couldn't read. So I call the KCI roadrunner and speak to a lady named Taylor. I told her the situation and she replied " Well hes coming so you'll still make your flight" THAT IS NOT THE POINT! This is an inconvenience for me. I asked to speak to a manager and she tells me no manager is available until Monday. I asked for the managers name. She gave me his first name, so I said whats his last name? She tells me she's not comfortable giving out his last name. So I ask for her name she told me her first name and again she's not giving me her last name either. I asked for the corporate number and she tells me they don't have a corporate number. She had an attitude and was very rude. I asked for a discount and she stated "I'm sorry but your are already getting a discount" (referring to my MILITARY discount) I was angry and annoyed by this experience and I will never use them again! So here I am praying this driver makes it here quickly and in enough time so that I can make my flight that is in 5 hours. This is a warning to anyone, don't waste your time or money because they are NOT professional.

Provided by YP.comMinus stars is best I can give. Have been charged seven times going and three times return. Taking it again tomorrow and cc company says it has charged me seven times already for trip. Unable to get thru to company. Was on hold two times over 26 minutes then disconnected. Kept trying and finally was told Austin would help me in billing. He wasn't at desk. Left number for return call. Still none. Tried calling again and now only answering machine.

Provided by YP.comBooked a guest from Lawrence to KCI. Pickup on time but they drove him back to Topeka - an hour the wrong way. Then it was 1-1/2 hour to the airport to just make his plane. Manager would not call me back to discuss this. Take Roadrunner at your own high risk.

Provided by YP.comI was supposed to be picked up at 8 pm but someone from roadrunner called and said the car is broken and another car will be there in an hour!!! I was really upset and he got upset too which was ridiculous!!! I cancelled the reservation adn the guy got so mad at me and had fight over phone why I am cancelling the ride!!! They are very rude people and not responsible at all. They do not accpet theri mistakes. They guy told me do not call us for reservation in future!!!! I would never call them again!!

in regard to a ticket that I purchased from KCI company that is no longer honoring.
Ive been a big supporter and user of KCI roadrunner for 2 years now and they have always had good service. I have a ticket that I purchased that was promised to me to be good for 1 year and now that I want to redeem it, I was told the co. will no longer honor their agreement to help with my ticket.
Im not asking for a refund, all I would like is to be able to use my (paid) ticket to get to the airport.
I spoke to one person who informed me that they *would* honor my ticket.
and now Im going to be out 56$ because *no one* is willing to honor the agreement that my ticket would be good for a year *regardless* if the company got sold to Quicksilver.
Quicksilver personnel tells me that they wont honor any of the previous holders of tickets and that they did it only for a short period. If they had me on their system , I was *never* informed that my ticket would soon be obsolete. If they had bothered to contact their customers or warn them ab out deadlines, I would have gotten my refund.
Im sorry to do this but now Im going to spread the word at how badly they are doing business and breaking promises to long time customers.
If I could give 0 or negative stars , I certainly would.

Provided by YP.comThis company provides the most unprofessional service I have ever experienced! They were 1.5 hours late after I made 3 telephone calls. I had to meet them in a different location because the driver was lost. I was terrified by his driving - swerving all over the highway. It was freezing cold and when I told him he turned the heat on for only 5 minutes. The van was filthy and smelled of smoke and some kind of cover up spray. You couldn't even see out the front window. I arrived at the airport when my plane was boarding. Would rate them a zero if that was an option. Do not ever book this shuttle.

Provided by YP.comWorst business I have ever dealt with. KCIRoadrunner was scheduled to pick me up at 5:30p on Mon and again at 2:15p on Wed. On Monday, the driver almost passed me by despite the fact that I was standing exactly where their website tells you to at the airport. Then he proceeded to berate me for not calling ahead to confirm my reservation. Nowhere on the website does it say to call AFTER you have already made you reservation and paid online. The Monday driver was very unsafe by constantly tailgating on the highway but nothing compared to the Wednesday driver. On Wed., I was made to wait 50 minutes for the shuttle due to "technical difficulties". Once the driver finally did show up, the van had no AC (in 98+ F), had a huge crack in the windshield right in front of the driver's field of vision, and he tried to charge me for the ride because he had no idea who I was despite his paperwork. His driving was atrocious as well, not only did he tailgate less than a car length going 65 mph but he swerved the entire 1 hr drive. It felt more like riding on a boat in cross-wind waves than on a flat highway in KS. The worst comes last however. The week before my trip I noticed on my bank statement that KCIRoadrunner was planning on charging me an extra $41 for no reason. I immediately wrote an e-mail informing them of the situation and never heard back. On Wed. I called as well and asked to speak with someone about this mistake and was told that the woman who does all of the financial work for their company only is available from 11am to 2pm and if I wanted something fixed I needed to call back tomorrow to talk with her. So I did call back the next day and got hung up on. I called again and was told she couldn't come in to the office that day and to keep calling back until she could show up to work.

Provided by YP.comMy friend recommended KCI Roadrunner to me when I needed a ride to the airport the other week. I couldn't have been happier with their services. She was definitely right about the friendly drivers, and low prices. I would definitely use them again.

Provided by YP.comI have a little fear of letting other people drive me since I was in a car accident with a friend. I was apprehensive about using a shuttle because of this but in the end, the convenience was worth it. I was very surprised by how careful the driver was. I almost forgot about my fear the entire drive to the airport.

Provided by YP.comI wish you could give negative stars! The dispatch was so rude I will never use them again. I called and made arrangements for them to p/u my son. I assumed that they are like any other taxi, you pay them when they get you to your destination. They were not going to let him on the taxi. I had just pulled out the cash to pay them. The woman told me that I was basically ignorant for thinking that I could pay them when the ride was completed. I have always lived in Metro areas, we don't pay our taxi's until we get to where we are going. They are listed as "Bell Taxi/ KCI Roadrunner. If you want payment for something up front then tell the consumer. Do not expect that everyone who has actually lived in the real world knows how ppl in BFE KS do business. So I had to pay with my CC to get him on the taxi. Now I have to get a money order and send my cash back into my bank. Topper- didn't honor his 90 day military benefits card, and said he couldn't have the military discount. WOW, never again! You cannot look at someone and tell the reason why they are not in the Army anymore. (PTSD-TBI etc.) If the Government honors it, then so should Bell Taxi. Rude, Rude, Rude! When the next lady got on the phone she told me that the prior lady was being rude b/c she had been at work for 13 hrs.. How is that my problem? I am not ignorant, I do know how taxi and shuttle services work in all of the cities we have lived in. I think maybe they are a bit ignorant to behave in such a manner simply b/c they made the mistake of not explaining to me the consumer how they run their business.. It is not my job to guess, when they want to be paid!!! Last minute stress of getting him on the taxi and the fact that they did not honor his military ID card with a discount, along with being spoken to like I was some ignorant moron that didn't know how taxi services work, was enough for me. I would rather drive!! I will not use them for airport srvc, nor will I ever use them as a taxi service again. They lost my business, and I assure you I will tell EVERYONE I speak to about my experience with this company, and suggest they do not do business with them either!! Especially if you are military

Provided by YP.comIt's just too awful for words. Plan on racing for your flight, watch your luggage, and whatever you do never, never, ever give them your credit card number. They will overcharge you and good luck getting a refund. I'm still trying. You have no recourse with a complaint because they don't care. I've used them 2 or 3 times but never again. They were worse every time. This last time was the worst experience ever. The Better Business Bureau gives them an "F."

Provided by YP.comIf another mode of transportation is available, take it. Not only are they constantly late with incompetent workers, they don't take care of their vehicles. I was left without my luggage on a vacation for over two days because the locking mechanism in the back of the van where the bags are placed was broken and they couldn't open it. The driver informed us that he had been complaining about the condition of the vehicle and malfunctions for months and the owners did nothing. They offered no apology and I'm warning you now, may sure you have your pink return slip or you'll be paying full price again! This shuttle service is not worth the few extra bucks you might save.
