One star for the meat department in Fresh Market, I really like their meat, but most of the time the service from the butchers behind the counter is unfriendly, barely civil, and they make me feel as if I am imposing on them. Now, I have been going to Fresh Market once a week since they opened, and have only experienced good service behind the meat counter one time, which was about 2 months ago.

Almost always, I stand there and wait until either some one comes out from the back,or until they finish restocking. They never look up and ask if they can help me. I always have to get their attention and when I finally do, they give it to me begrudgingly. Today was the last straw. I walked out with only part of my meat order because I refuse to pay for indifference.

I now go to another market, which is a little far for me, but their butchers are professional, efficient, friendly, helpful, and they are actually behind the counter!! And their meat is just as good, if not better.
