JUPITER -- If you drive down Cypress Drive and look

for the purple shutters - stop! Go in and you’ll find one

of the most extraordinary collections of slightly used

home furnishing around, as well as an unusual and most

interesting trio of proprietresses anywhere. If you don’t

find the merchandise fascinating (we don’t know how

you couldn't), at least it will be impossible not to enjoy

the personalities of Kim Moore, Jacque Blair and

Rhonda Gagliardi - they are the owners of The Good

Stuff Consignments, 1515 Cypress Drive, which opened

The store is small, but the owners have put together

some creative merchandising to display their wares. The displays are somewhat sectionalized, each unto itself. The use of a creative theme, bright and funky colors and the owners extending a blend of kooky humor and wit that would make one think they were watching an inprov comedy show, pretty much completes the picture - and usually the sale. But, with all the fun and laughter going on, the ladies are very knowledgeable about their consignments and darned

serious about their business.

The three partners are obsessed with the concept of

wearing a tiara, so much so that not only do they sell

them, but they offer a special every Tuesday to those

who come into to the store wearing a tiara, men or

women. If that happens, the person will get a 10%

discount on anything they buy. The ladies are so tiara

conscious that their store slogan is: “A Tiara Worthy

Place to Shop.” The tiara fixation actually came from

the partners participation in a local chapter of The

Sweet Potato Queen sorority. The girls founded the

local chapter and named it Christmas Belles of Jupiter.

Each year, at the JTAA Christmas Parade, the three of

them march the entire length of the parade route wearing ball gowns and, of course, tiaras. They win trophies and awards every year for originality. There is living proof of them hanging on the store wall.

So there you have it - a delightful little consignment shop on a delightful little street with three delightful and

fun loving ladies running the show. Their merchandise is trendy, the decor bright and imaginative and the trio

couldn’t be more personable. It is the perfect place to

shop - don’t forget the tiara on Tuesday - and the terms

are reasonable and very simple to remember. The

consignments are kept for two months. Sales are on a

50-50 basis. If it is an artist, it is on a 25-75 percentage.

Checks are issued the 15th of each month. And, best of all, the store is still accepting consignments.

Further, the partners couldn’t be happier with the

reception they’ve received since moving to Cypress

Drive. “People have been wonderful,” Jacque said. “The

relationships we’ve formed in just one month, both from

other business people and customers, has truly been

great. The turn out we had at our Grand Opening April

16 was perfect.” Jacque had been in the consignment

business before, but the others hadn’t. But, Rhonda’s

summation of it all was, “I’ve never had so much fun in

my life.” Kim’s reaction - “If you’ve got a dream, just

do it.”

The Good Stuff is open Tuesday-Friday, 10am-5pm. thursdays til 7pm
