I just looked up Owens Electrics and saw a single odd review and felt the need to write one of my own.

I have used Owens Electric on many occasions over the last 30 years. Bill and his folks are always on time, pleasant and do an excellent job.

I will give a single example that is typical of the way Bill and his folks work. About 25 years ago, I called to have a tripped breaker replaced in my garage. Bill arrived (promptly), looked at the breaker box and then started to check electric outlet plugins in the garage. I was in a hurry and needed to get going and I didn't understand why Bill didn't just put a new breaker in the box. He told me that he was looking for what caused the breaker to trip in the first place. After a few more outlet checks the found a set of wires that had been chewed/stripped by field rats. He fixed those wires then he put a new breaker in the box.

Horrible customer service and promptness. I had scheduled an electrical inspection with Bill Owens and explained I needed an inspection report once completed. He went to the property to inspect. A few days went by and I had't received inspection report or a status on how inspection went so I called him and left a nice message. He called back screaming at me telling me he could't send me report that quickly and to find another electrician. WOW! He didn't even let me speak and blamed me for needing a status report that promptly. I guess in 3 plus days he couldn't tell me status of the inspection he had completed. Needless to say I will never use this company again. Yelling at your customers and bashing them isn't what you'd want in your electrician.
