You must try this delicious place on the North Shore. The shrimp is so good. Definitely try the pineapple with Li Hing powder. it is the best.

The best garlic shrimp EVER.



Giovanni's is a glorified food truck with a permanent picnic area in a growing trailer park"ish" collection of food trucks. But don't cheat yourself out of the experience. If you are driving out to the North Shore and are looking for peel and eat garlic shrimp, with some serious emphasis on the "garlic" this is the place.



You can expect a bit of a wait to put your order in and then to have your order of shrimp cooked and served up on a bed of steamed rice. If you want you can do what we do and order an extra scoop of rice topped with just their sauteed garlic-- oh geesh is it good.



Service is fine-- it's a food truck guys but they're nice for sure. And if you bring a sharpie you can tag their truck and then everyone will know you were "hea" for ever and ever, ya know?



Bathrooms-- they used to be pretty ugh, although clean. And really, when you're eating on a picnic table outside of a graffiti covered truck and you know you have found garlic shrimp heaven, well, who cares about fancy facilities.



Definitely stop in at Giovanni's when you are making your way through Kahuku.
