Terrible customer service in Parts Dept kailua kona. Went to kailua kona Toyota to purchase a part. Strike 1!! Purchased the part and specifically asked the guy to double check that the part was the correct part and the employee stated yeah yeah that's the correct part. Strike two!! Got home found out part was not the right part after I had asked it to be double checked to be correct part. Wasting my gas to go to town originally in the first place. Strike 3. I call the parts Dept to let them know of their mistake, and that I will be down to get correct part. I get down there and the people from parts Dept left at 2:30 when they told me they would be there to 4:00. Wtf???!! Strike 4!!! Let me tell you this is not the first time this same incident has happened. Toyota your customer service skills suck!! You treat your customers poorly. Lucky for us now there's O'rielly auto parts and Autozone

DO NOT go to Big Island Toyota!!! 6 weeks and $3961.94 to resurface the heads, replace valves, timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, etc I finally get my Tundra back only to find a fuel leak a week later. Tech and mechanic recommends replacing a cracked fuel pressure regulator estimate at $3-400! I deny the service and take the truck to a friends recommendation who replaces the regulators o-ring for $4!?! 15 months later, I have my tires replaced with a vehicle inspection and the shop recommends replacing the water pump and timing belt! So I take the estimate and BI Toyotas 2011 work order to Billy Watan and he shrugs his shoulder and says "well...you had a year warranty?" Not satisfied with that response the conversation continues until he puts his hand in my face and says "good bye!" Don't know where this guy was raised but here on the Big Island, that's disrespectful! I have owned a Corolla, Highlander, Tacoma and now a Tundra all purchased from off island dealerships. I do NOT recommend purchasing or servicing from this dealership especially dealing with Billy Watan and Tyler Russell!

bought our new van from them got a good deal then the salesman crashed it while cleaning for delivery ... they had it repaired and it looked good front fender and mirror was all it was ...oil changes and service have been great ..the accessory plugs r an issue with the van the fuse blows all the time cant seem to fix it idk why ....good place to buy we will go back again for next car
