This place is great! My son and I took a surf lesson with Ben and Isha last week. We signed up for a semi private surf lesson but when we got to the surf shop we were told that the waves were very small and inconsistent. It was our last day and really wanted to surf so Ben and Isha both went out with us and gave us each a private surf lesson at no extra cost so we could catch every wave that came our way. I was very impressed at how much Ben and Isha cared about making our surfing experience the best it could be. I will definitely go back to Kahaluu Bay Surf and Sea next time we are in Kona. They also rent surfboards, stand up paddle boards and snorkel gear which is perfect because their surf shop is located right across the street from a fantastic surfing and snorkeling spot!
