We've gone to the Emergency Room a couple times, they typically make you wait a few hours and then give you a doctor that doesn't seem to know much and a nurse that seems aloof. We had 4 kids at Borgess, their OB unit is pretty good, great nurses and they've adopted better practices over recent years. The surgical floors are pretty good, too.

The billing, though, is terrible. This year, we have been getting bills from Medical Financial Solutions. This doesn't happen until two or three bills have been missed. But I typically pay the bills ASAP and hadn't seen any bills beforehand. Then I realized that many of my bills were being sent to the wrong address. We haven't moved in the past 7 years, so there's no reason that they should send them elsewhere, but so far i've gotten 4 bills from Medical Financial Solutions, and two were sent to my brother's house. The other two I had called about and they said that their records show that they were sent. So, either 4 or 6 (however many bills are sent before going to Medical Financial Solutions) bills were lost in the mail, or their records are wrong. We're going to try Bronson to see if they're any better.
