Meals on Wheels, one of the programs operated by Senior Services, has been serving senior citizens since 1960. The program offers home delivery services for clients living in Kalamazoo County in Michigan. It meals have the lower contents of salt, fat and sugar. Meals on Wheels also delivers frozen meals for weekends. In addition, the program conducts individual health assessment sessions. It operates several food distribution centers throughout the state. Meals on Wheels serves yoghurt, sandwiches, salads, soups and juices. Senior Services is one of the largest organizations in the United States that serves senior citizens and disabled individuals.
