FOUND VERY OLD CAT FECES IN MY APARTMENT. I wish 0 stars was an option. I've traveled 32 countries and 20 states and I have never had such a terrible experience with management/staff in the world. When first signing my lease, I was given the opportunity to move in early if I wanted to take my apartment as is. I went to check out the apartment with the manager and it was covered in dirt, dust, dog and cat hair, overall just filthy floors. The manager reassured to me, after obviously denying early move in, that upon move in date the carpets would be professionally cleaned and the walls would be repainted because there were holes and marks all over. This was one of many lies. Move in day, I received my keys and the door handle on my apartment was completely missing… couldn't even get into my apartment until maintenance installed one. Once inside I noticed nothing has been done to it since I first checked it out. The dryer, stove, sinks, and dishwasher are low quality. Maintenance/management will not respond to emails, calls, or requests for weeks on end. My toilet was broken, and after leaving 3 emergency maintenance requests to their emergency number, it was finally fixed… a week later. After coming back here from a holiday break, I noticed a very unusual smell. When I moved in I continuously used air fresheners/candles because I figured the trash smell was coming from the people running this place. After hours of spot cleaning I found the cause of the smell… a couple very dried hard pieces of cat feces, a bunch of cat litter crusted to the floor, underwear, and socks all shoved under the dryer for what looks like could have been years looking at the stained/crusted floor. All they offered me was $50 and agreed that it was gross but made no effort toward having my apartment cleaned. 3 weeks later, they still have yet cleaned the mess of it that I was unable to remove because of how fossilized to the floor it is.
