O’Rourke has always wanted to have a career which would allow for her to form close relationships and care for others. Being in obstetrics and gynecology allows her to do this by addressing immediate concerns and providing lifelong health care.Dr. O’Rourke believes it is an honor to have patients share their most personal concerns with her and it gives her incredible joy whenever they are able to work together to help them feeling well again.O’Rourke in her spare time loves to spend time with family and friends, as well as bake, exercise and spend time outdoors. She also enjoys volunteering at a free clinic that she helped co-found in Madison, Wis.“Obstetrics and gynecology is a specialty unlike any other as it allows me the opportunity to care for every aspect of women's health. I am able to listen to my patients as they describe their concerns; complete exams and tests to find the cause of their symptoms; offer both medications and surgeries to restore their health; and provide preventive health care and pregnancy care. It is always an honor to get to know my patients and join them as they address their medical concerns so they can enjoy their lives.”
