MRC Industries, located in Kalamazoo, Mich., was founded more than 20 years ago, and was formerly known as McKercher Rehabilitation Center. It offers a wide range of programs and services to individuals suffering from physical disabilities and mental disorders. The agency offers individualized skill building and advocacy programs that promote productivity and independence among persons with disabilities. MRC Industries provides support and accommodations that assist individuals to be become active members of their communities. It also serves individuals with developmental and learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries and emotional impairments. It is a nonprofit agency that administers diverse services through its programs, such as, McKercher Services, Pathways Clubhouse, Corner Club, Connections and Bridgeways.
