Provided by YP.comYou could not pick a more caring place for your loved one. The staff is outstanding, caring for the patient and their needs, and are also most sensitive in the way they answer the families questions. I feel that my husband and our family was most fortunate to have been able to use the facilites of Rose Arbor. I have always heard that Rose Arbor was the best but until you have experienced actually using their facility you cannot know how wonderful this place is.

Provided by YP.comMy grandfather was recently admitted to the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence where he eventually passed away. I cannot offer enough praise for this facility. The staff were always warm and accomodating to the family members and guests and to the patients...even my grandfather who was pretty much unresponsive in his last days there. They continued to talk to him and let him know they were giving him a shot or turning him, even though he offered no response. They kept us informed of what stage Grandpa was in and what to expect next so nothing took us by surprise. They are very special people and it was a blessing to have them during his passing.
The building itself is also very, very nice. It's very quiet, so patients and family can rest when they need to. The patient rooms don't look anything like a hospital room, in fact, they're much more like a really nice hotel room. Even the beds look like something you'd sleep in at home. The whole idea is to make it as "homey" as possible and they invite you to bring items from home to comfort the patients...they even encourage visits from pets. There is a great room with birds and a piano and a fireplace and lots of books. There are family rooms with a kitchenette and games and furniture for family to gather and pass the time while their family member is resting or being cared for. There are also lots of windows with birdfeeders and flowering bushes outside every room and a walkway around the outside of the building with a nice area for sitting in warmer weather. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who's looking for a home away from home for their loved one's last days.
