Went to the Salvation Army Sto...

Went to the Salvation Army Store on Portage Road in Kalamazoo, Michigan looking for a queen size bed frame, box spring and dressers. Found what I needed. When I asked about getting assistance to carry it to my van, I was told they would help, but would not load them in my van. I was by myself and I am disabled, so I wasn't happy but figured I would manage. After looking around a bit longer, I went to checkout, but realized I would only have enough cash on me to get the bed frame only. The female manager fetched the bed frame for me from the back of the store to the front door. She refused to carry it out to my van which was a very short distance away. So I carefully began to walk (due to a bad hip and instability) and one step at a time lift the very heavy bed frame to the van. Two men walking in, just stared at me and offered no help. So I thought to myself, "&*@;*%$?#@!^&??!;*%&;?!", how rude men are today!!! Moments later two 30 something women came and one offered me the help I needed that the store manager and the two men failed to offer. God bless her!!

It doesn't really surprise me about the manager not helping. In the past, I occasionally needed to seek assistance at the Salvation Army organization on Burdick St. Often the workers there are rude and condescending. And these people call themselves Christians. Well, the Bible says we shall know them by their fruit. Most Salvation Army employees offer rotten fruit! PEEYEWW!!!
