Summer time is not bad. Maintenance is kept well and very responsive to problems. Winter time however is the worst I have ever seen out of a complex. For this reason, I would encourage you to not rent here. Electric bills for heat will cost 300+, and that's more than a house, for only a 800 square foot apartment. The walls are poorly insulated, windows poorly installed, subfloor not insulated, heating vents not installed correctly and sliding glass doors poorly installed. The results of this are as follows: Your heater which runs on electric will constantly run as it never stays warm. Cold air blows in through the heat vents due to poor wall insulation. Cold air comes up through the subfloor and carpet. I have all windows and sliding glass door weatherized for winter with shrink-wrap weather seal, a blanket is tucked at the bottom of the sliding glass door to stop drafts. The cold air coming up from the subfloor and carpet has mixed with the warm air by the sliding door, causing ice to form on the inside of our apartment. The heater vents blow so much cold outside air in, that we have to tape them all up to stop the airflow. We are forced to use space heaters because of this. Last year when under contract, we payed 300+ electric bills for 4 months. If we weren't in the middle of finding a house, we would not be here. I would look elsewhere.
