Flathead County Fairgrounds is the governmental department that organizes the annual Northwest Montana Fair, actually the county fair of Flathead County, Mont. The annual fair takes place near Kalispell, Mont., and features rodeos, consortiums on aging, rabbit breeding shows, a demolition derby, Indian relay races, pari-mutuel horse racing, a carnival, and entertainment. The entertainment at the Northwest Montana Fair includes the Little Miss Style Show, a horse show, dog show and livestock shows. Country music artists to perform at the fair have included Neal McCoy and Mark Chesnutt. Flathead County Fairground, headquartered in Kalispell, also rents out its facilities for birthday, retirement, graduation and anniversary parties.
