Took him a crank from a backhoe-one look at it and he advised that, while it COULD be welded up and turned down, longevity was very questionable.

When I found a replacement motor, took the cam and crank to him. Looked up all the specs and said they were esentially like new. He cleaned them up beautifully and polished the journals for $75.

Shop machinery was clean as a whistle and it is clear he knows his business.
