My apartment complex in Grandview, MO decided to have the parking lot and street repaved. They put out notices of when this was to take place. On my flyer there was no mention of my apartment building being included as one of the first to get pavement redone. The notices mentioned that we would have to park at an alternate location until work is completed. I come home from work with a bad back and see where have the lot was roped off. My 8 year old daughter and I had to park at another location and walk about a block or so. On the way to my apartment building, I kind of grumbled and mumbled about the inconvenience. The owner of A One Trucking and Paving was sitting in his truck nearby when he heard me complaining. He said this was his fault and he was sorry.He said they decided to add the other lot to be paved ahead of schedule. I came up to him and said, "You're the culprit huh?" He smiled and said he takes total blame. I really wasn't upset and the project is almost done. How can I be upset over such good customer service. I'm pleased with their work and pleased with the hospitality that I received from the owner.
