Banneker Elementary Science & Technology is an elementary magnet school that is located in Kansas City, Kan. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its students create and save a variety of projects, such as PowerPoint projects on states, science experiments and creative writing documents. Each of its classrooms features nearly six computers. The school has a science laboratory with 10 computers and a computer laboratory that features over 20 computers. The school also provides a weather station, digital cameras, camcorders, large monitors and nearly 50 portable keyboards in its laboratories. In addition, Banneker Elementary Science & Technology has a student council that organizes various fundraising events. The school is a part of Kansas Public Schools.
