Donald Neff, MD, FACS, is an assistant professor of urology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. A native of Wisconsin, he entered healthcare as a firefighter/paramedic in Janesville, Wisconsin. During this time, he developed his passion for medicine, and earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. He then went on to complete medical school and a urology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. While a medical student there, he earned several awards, including the William Booker Memorial Award in pharmacology, the Hiram Benjamin Award for proficiency in anatomy, the Frankow Award for outstanding academic achievement and the Millman Award.
