My wife and I had visited this park on 4 different occassions. Granted it is a very nice park. We had been upfront and honest from day one. We found a home in there we wanted to purchase as our retirement home. The day we were set to close the deal, my wife and I were getting window measurements and the property manager, Mike came by and said, we have a problem your dog is too big. Mind you from day 1 we told him we had a dog and cat- our dog is a Boxer but he is the runt of the bunch and weighs appx. 35-40 lbs less than knee high. I had him schedule to be neutered and estimated he would put another 5-10 lbs on. He is 4 years old full grown. He killed the sale when he said we couldn't have our dog. But yet the neighbor next door has a full grown German Shepherd. Every time we seen this guy he was always saying, "well I evicted so and so." Why would anyone spend thousands of dollars on a home just to be evicted for not following a dog weight rule. Our dog was 15 lbs appx overweight- Both of our pets are indoor pets and only go out when we go and the property is fenced. Also, we found out that the back deck was 5 ft over on the neighbors lot and no one disclosed this information until the day we were set to close. Noted we had already paid the $90.00 background check and was approved by management as tenants. Just be aware if you consider this place home. We did not disagree that a place has to set limits but come on 15 lb overweight dog? Guess my dog needs Richard Simmons dog- o- matics exercise. The house or the dog... not hard here- my dog!!!
