I currently live in Spring Valley and the manager and owner are terrible! They promised free wifi and when I moved in it wasn't working. I had to go to their office multiple times asking about it and I always got vague answers until after about a month they said they weren't going to fix it. I asked for money off of rent because I wasn't getting a service that was promised me and the manager simply said that the owner is an attorney and wouldn't do anything about it. In December my heater broke (it was freezing!) and it took them 26 days to get it fixed!!! I asked for compensation off rent and I was again faced with the manager saying that the owner is an attorney and wouldn't do anything about it. Then my whole building's water heater broke and it still hasn't been fixed. It has been 6 days and counting with no hot water! I had to go into their office multiple times and asked for compensation for the inconvenience and the manager said that the owner is an attorney and wouldn't do anything about it. I have tried to contact the owner multiple times but I only get the voicemail and he has not returned any of my calls. I have not received any compensation for any delay in repairs and I haven't even received an apology for having to go without a heater or hot water during the winter! The owner has cut too many corners with the renovation and the electrical and plumbing are out of date. It is just a matter of time before something else is broken and they take their time fixing it and don't offer any other help. Please don't move into Spring Valley apartments because you will be faced with similar struggles that I have had to deal with!
