I can't even express how disappointed I am in the service from this company. I took my computer in to have them install a larger hard drive since the one I had was nearly full. I was told that getting a larger hard drive would help speed up my computer, which had been operating a bit sluggishly lately. A friend recommended A Class Computers, so I brought it in. The guy behind the counter was quite friendly, and I had high hopes that the computer work would be completed within the next 2 days. I paid the $25 required deposit for them to do a diagnostic on my computer. After 48 hours, I called them to inquire about the status of my computer. They had not even BEGUN working on it. Since my computer is a vital component for my business, I could not be without it for so long. So, I went and picked it up and made arrangements to drop it off the following week when I would have a couple days off.



I could go on and on with the nightmare of how things proceeded from there, but I will spare you the looooong story. Suffice it to say, I brought the computer back in the following week. In keeping this story short, here are the problems I had:



1. It took this company more than SIX days to complete a simple task of installing a new hard drive to my computer.

2. When I finally got my computer back, the job had not been completed correctly. The drivers had not been installed, so I had to take it back a third time to have them finish the job.

3. This company was only interested in doing the bare minimum of work. They ONLY installed the new hard drive, and what I got back was a virtually empty computer. I was told that it was up to ME to reinstall all my programs and files. Two problems with this: First, for the hefty fee of $300, you'd think they could do more than the bare minimum. Second, lots of people (like me) are not computer specialists, and that is WHY we take our computer to the computer shop in the first place. I don't have a clue how to get my computer fully operational again.

4. After 2 hours on the phone with my internet provider's tech support, they were kind enough to talk me through several steps on my computer to actually get my interenet connected again, even though it was clearly an issue with the computer, not with the internet connection. But now that I am connected, all my browsers are running extremely choppy, pages load very very slow, videos take forever to buffer, pages freeze up completely. I took my computer back to A Class yesterday to ask them to fix it. The guy said that all they are responsible for is doing the 'standard installation' of the hard drive, which is what they did, and they are not responsible for anything more than that.



So, now after all that, I am now having to hire a different computer person to actually get my computer operational. In short, I have to hire someone else to FIX what A Class Computers jacked up.



I would have been better off if I had never taken my computer to A Class. I can't believe how terrible my experience was. PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS COMPANY FOR COMPUTER REPAIRS! They need to learn to give their customers better service, not just the bare minimum.

Hey this place got my conmputers in and out in a very short amount of time. Very friendly service and low costs. I will be coming back if i have anymore problems. Did i mention fast turnaround
