Armour Homes is a nonsectarian, nonprofit corporation serving seniors and is owned by the Women's Christian Association. It provides individualized health and social services to meet the needs of residents, providing a secure, homelike environment where seniors can live with dignity and independence. Its Villa and Assisted Living Center offer a stress-free lifestyle with the independence of apartment living and assistance with meals, medications and daily activities. For residents who need long-term skilled nursing care, it offers its Care Center, a small campus-like environment with the opportunity for activities outside the facility and features that allow residents to personalize their living area with their own furniture and pictures. In my opinion and 10 year dealing with this facility, I would not place a loved one in the skilled nursing facility

Love the neighborhood

My wife and I wanted to live in a retirement community in our Kansas City neighborhood, and Armour Oaks is close to everything -- our friends, shopping, food. We love giving up the stress of owning a home and all that goes with it to live in the Parks independent living apartments. Every day, we give thanks that we are here at Armour Oaks Senior Living Community.
