TERRIBLE PLACE, full of ABUSE!! The Administrator is toxic to everyone he comes into contact with, the turnover is CONSTANT, and the medical staff (tho not all) is generally abusive, both verbally and mentally. I have seen the administrator laugh in patient's faces when they questioned his behaviors or his "plans" for them. He mocked one female MH patient to her face, with spit flying out into her hair. She spent the day in the corner, crying, and attempted suicide later that week. There have been a few suspicious deaths in my time there, and I was only there for 10 months! This place needs to be shut down, PERIOD!!

Provided by YP.comA family member went to visit my brother. While talking to my brother, the family member said, "If you get cleaned up we will take you out for Thanks Giving". ( Thanks giving was a few weeks away ) The administrator ran out of his office and yelled, this patient will not leave this facility as long as he is acting poorly. Of course it upset my brother but there was nothing we could do. I called later to check on my brother and was told he is sleeping. When I was his legal guardian this stuff didn't happen. I'm no longer guardian because I moved and didn't get the paperwork filled out in time. I will go through the process again to become his guardian. From the time I lost guardianship, he has been over medicated, sent away, and sleeps all the time. I also don't appreciate getting yelled at by the administrator over the phone (whom I never met) just to find out what took place. The said administrator yelled at my family member in front of other patinece. It is too much for mentally ill patience to have that kind of yelling in front of them. It provokes the patience and makes the situation counterproductive. In 8 years they have been through several staff members and there is always a new administrator or social worker. Just when I get a relationship established with an employee, the next time I go to the facility the staff member is gone.

Provided by YP.comI am a nurse that did work at this facility. I want to say to people, BEWARE!!! I got the FLU, called in 10 hours before my shift to my boss that stated, "Take some meds, get some rest and call me in the AM to let me know how you are". I was then called by the ADM and told, " If you don't come to work tomorrow you are fired." I asked, " So you want me to come to work running a 102 fever and vomiting? Exposing the res and staff to the FLU?" He said, " If you are not there, you are terminated, period." I am so glad I no longer work there. Also wouldn't want my family in a facility where the management doesn't care if the staff and res get the FLU. Also the nurses are required to call the ADM and get permission to give DR ordered PRN meds and what type of behavior interventions to put in place. Although he does not have a nursing or medical degree. Sad. BEWARE!!!!!

Provided by YP.comI HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH MY BROTHER FOR 3 WHOLE DAYS AND CAN NOT GET A HOLD OF HIM. THIS PLACE IS VERY UPSETTING TO ME. I ASKED THE LADY THAT ANSWERS IF THEY HAVE A WEBSITE OR AN EMAIL ADDRESS SHE SAID "I DON'T THINK SO". EVERY TIME I HAVE CALLED FOR HIM SHE SAYS "IS HE A RESIDENT?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME. THE ONE TIME I ALMOST GOT THROUGH THE NURSE SAID THEY WERE HAVING A FIRE DRILL. AMAZING.
