Barn owner always on site and treats horse boarders like her own. Ensures turnout horses are compatible. Worries over the feed. My other barn was excellent like this and I was not sure I’d find one again this good. Nice boarders. Trails to ride on property. Owner calls and has a group text system that keeps everyone informed. Very consistent and excellent care. Reasonable discussions if there are issues that arise. And the place is immaculate

This is a first class boarding facility! You couldn't ask for a more caring owner and staff. The facility is kept immaculate and the horses always come first! One disgruntled owner has made disparaging remarks that are outright lies! Owners always have a say regarding the care of their horses and are always accommodated. If the owner was so unhappy with the facility, why did she bring 2 more horses to board their? All her comments are just untrue. The owner of Forbes spent about 5 hours sitting with us when our horse was ill last year. She gives regular updates during bad weather on group text line. In fact was at the barn during the storms at 11:30 last night to make sure all the horses were OK. I could go on and on about all the positive aspects of Forbes. But instead, come by and talk to some of the owners yourself! You wont hear a negative word from any of us!

I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone. While it looks nice at first, make sure you take a closer look. From the lack of shavings to the non-ergonomic mats, to cut faces on the auto-waterers, to horses with broken legs because of poor turn out decisions (which you have no control over.) Essentially, you will be paying all the bills for her to make whatever decisions she wants to about your horse and not tell you about it until something happens. I've experienced horse care my entire life on the east coast in New England - having my horses at home as well as boarding at a variety of barns (never had an issue at one). I am disgusted that I fell for the lure of a pretty barn and assumed that quality care would go hand in hand. Beware - This barn could cost you your horses life - I experienced this the hard way and do not want anyone to have to endure what I just made it through.
