These clowns came slithering by our house and pressured my wife into buying a bunch of stuff we didn't need or could afford. I was shocked at the poor quality of the "Steaks" they were pushing. I was on the meats judging team in College, so I know what I'm talking about. Anyway, my wife wrote them a check for $50 and a postdated check for $229. They told her we could cancel and they'd come pick up the meat. The next day I called and canceled, they picked up the meat and gave us the check for $229. I asked about the $50 check and they said it had already been deposited and they would send us a check for $50 in the mail. That was June 9. It is now June 19 and still no check. I left them a message on 6/18 and they haven't bothered to return my call. I called again today hoping to catch them in the office, but there was no answer. They appear to be sleezy and unprofessional and I'm highly dissatisfied with their company.

Will never be using this company again! So unprofessional. They ran my card twice & then tried to charge me a $10 service fee. 1st & last time I will ever use this company.

I met Nathan one of the salesmen while doing laundry. I purchased a case of his steaks. Nice size portions. Vacuum packed and they grill up nicely. No its not fresh cuts of meat. But nice in color and flavorful. You can't blame people for trying to earn a living selling steaks. I had a good experience.

Three men in a white truck went door to door in our neighborhood, saying they were with Heartland Meats trying to sell meat out of the truck. No company logo/name on their clothing/truck, no brochures. We called the police because one of the men entered a house without being let it, but fled when the dog growled. Extremely suspicious behavior! Be careful!

Salesman came to door and pressured my 89 year old mother into buying 899.00 in meat. Left no receipt on credit receipt.
