Formed in 1949, the KCMCC is a nationally recognized nonprofit that relies on donations and grants to fund four core program that help fill the gaps in the cycle of crime and power a safer better Greater KC community. Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline provides safe and anonymous outlets for the public to share information without the threat of retaliation. Metropolitan Community Service Program allows offenders to repay their community through service. Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund (SAFE) provides immediate financial support to the families of local first responders killed in the line of duty. Second Chance Risk Reduction Center helps formerly incarcerated individuals overcome re-entry barriers and more.
