The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is dedicated to the enjoyment and understanding of the visual arts and the varied cultures they represent. The Nelson-Atkins strives to achieve this goal by adherence to the highest professional standards in the collection, preservation, exhibition and interpretation of works of art.
**Admission to the Museum is FREE for all visitors**
There may be a charge for special exhibitions.
Closed Mondays, New Year's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
