Being new to Kansas City, my husband and I went through the process of gaining employment through Pro Staff. We submitted our resumes, called for an appointment and interviews. When we arrived at our appointed time we were greeted by the condescending receptionist and told that someone would be with us shortly. An hour later, another woman showed up and said she would have to interview us together because she was running behind! She spent a collective 30 minutes talking about some weight watchers call center that is her "baby" when neither my husband (IT technician) nor myself (editor/journalist) had expressed any interest in call center work. She hurried us out the door with directions to a number of different employment agencies telling us "they're better suited to help you, but if we stumble across anything we will let you know!" We've never heard from nor had a single phone call returned by them since! What a sad waste of our time!
