I was here when I was around 9. Other children physically assaulted me and the staff just watched or didn't want to listen to my complaints. I have physical scars from what other kids did to me. This place does not care about children. All they care about is getting money from the state.

I was in foster care for 8 years and the system sent me to Spofford. The group home is not a good place for young children to go to. I'm 17 now and I was 9 or 10 then. Its not a safe place. There were fun times but Spofford sucks in general.
