I am in shock at the conditions of this local phlebotomist in Kansas City. The office was a mess. Unorganized and filthy. There was blood on the exam table and there were visible tubes of blood. There was a container where you dispose of used needles sitting near me with the orange lid wide open, full of discarded needles. The woman I dealt with was unprofessional, rude and seemed scattered. She had issues taking my blood and was very unfriendly when I asked any questions. It is shocking that someone would give this business a license to use needles and take blood from anyone. Is there no inspections for this type of business? It is listed as a clinic online. Someone needs to actually inspect this location and require them to follow some form of safe health protocols, much like any other doctor or health clinic. I am confident that a surprise inspection will show the conditions of this facility as unfit and unsafe for this type of business.
