Olubunmi Akintola, MD, FACOG, earned her medical degree at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 2012. Dr. Akintola then completed her OB/GYN internship and residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Dr. Akintola decided to turn her passion for science into a medical career as she understands the vulnerability that patients and their families experience and wanted to be part of the solution. In her practice as an OB/GYN, she diagnoses and treats a wide range of women's health issues. Her clinical interests include low- and high-risk obstetrics, gynecological care for women of all life stages from puberty to menopause, and gynecological surgery. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in October 2024.
