At the beginning of the year this school was fair. I feel that communication is sometimes lacking. The events they schedule seem to be disorganized or not very engaging. The main issue we have had is the inability to get tutoring for our child, the lack of assistance in having him tested for learning or social differences. No matter how many emails I have written or how many meetings I have had, its now the end of the year and we never really made much progress with them. They were very dismissive of our concerns. Luckily I have worked with my child every night, doing their assigned homework as well as workbooks I purchased to keep him on track. The staff are nice people but probably not equipped to deal with special needs children. They are also not equipped to handle the kids who bully or pick on special needs children.
